At Hancock Tool, we take great care in customizing molder knives to meet the unique needs of our customers. We have the ability to match any machine profile, including Foley, RBI, Williams & Hussey, Powermatic, and standard corrugated heads. Our molder knife material selection includes a variety of options, such as Williams & Hussey, Corrugated M2, M3, Black Nitride, Carbide Inlay, and Carbide Backpack.

Our custom molder knife making process is thorough and carefully executed. We begin by tracing a scanned wood sample in a CAD program, and then we use our OMAX Waterjet with 55,000 lbs. of pressure mixed with abrasive garnet to create a rough profile. The molder knife is then finished on our UTMA P20 CNC to achieve the sharpest edge possible. Finally, we hone, balance, label, and dip the molder knife in a protective wax coating.
